Once the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader became the feared enforcer of the Galactic Empire after his fall to the dark side. Encased in black armor to survive his injuries from Mustafar, Vader hunted down the remaining Jedi and served Emperor Palpatine for over two decades. He was ultimately redeemed by his son Luke Skywalker, destroying the Emperor and fulfilling the prophecy of the Chosen One.
