Overview

The Rakata Infinite Empire rules hundreds of worlds with Force-powered hyperdrives and the Star Forge above Lehon.

Knights of the Old Republic and later Essential Chronology files date the Infinite Empire's height near 30,000 BBY. The Rakata bind slave species, seed ruins from Korriban to Kashyyyk, and build the Star Forge — a factory that eats stars. Their hyperdrives require the Force. When that gift later fails, the map they drew becomes the skeleton of later galactic travel.
