⬢ CURATED RECORD

Tython is a Deep Core world of ruins, storms and living Force, long cited as an early gathering place of Force-sensitive scholars who became the Jedi. In current canon it is also the site of a hidden seeing stone: Din Djarin brought Grogu here so the child could reach out, and it was here Moff Gideon's dark troopers nearly ended that search.

Older chronicles (Legends) place the Je'daii Order on Tython millennia before the Republic, splitting light and dark after a civil war. Either telling puts the planet at the start of Jedi history — and, in The Mandalorian, at a quiet turning point for Grogu.

First appearance: Legends Dawn of the Jedi; canon in The Mandalorian (2020)
