Expanded Dossier
⬢ CURATED RECORDOrd Mantell is a junkyard-and-spaceport world on the northern edge of the Mid Rim, famous for its bright-painted cities, smuggler traffic, and the chance that someone you owe money is already on the next landing pad. Han Solo once dumped a cargo here — and spent years regretting it.
In the New Republic era the Bad Batch worked jobs out of Ord Mantell under Cid's parlor, and later stories keep it as a crossroads where bounty hunters, clones, and refugees mix. It is not a capital. It is where people pass through when they cannot go home.
First appearance: Mentioned in The Empire Strikes Back (1980); on-screen in The Bad Batch and The Clone Wars
