Onderon

Onderon is a jungle kingdom whose walled capital, Iziz, was built to keep out the megafauna - and whose people ride what they cannot keep out, taming dalgo and roping rupings from the wild. Its politics are as untamed: monarchy, occupation and insurgency in cycles back to the ancient Beast Wars.

During the Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano trained Saw and Steela Gerrera's rebels to retake Iziz from the Separatist puppet-king - the Republic's first deliberate insurgency, and the template (for better and worse) of Saw's lifelong war. Steela's death on the cliffs marked Saw forever.
