Nal Hutta

Nal Hutta - 'Glorious Jewel' in Huttese, with no irony intended - is the bog-and-smog throneworld of the Hutt species, ruled by the Grand Hutt Council from rain-slick palaces above polluted marshes. The Hutts re-engineered the planet to match their preferences after annexing it from the native Evocii, whose descendants serve in its swamps.

Every thread of the galactic underworld eventually runs through Nal Hutta or its moon Nar Shaddaa: spice, slaves, bounties and protection, administered by clans whose grudges outlast governments. Ziro the Hutt's palace and the Council's deliberations over Maul's Shadow Collective both played out here.
