⬢ CURATED RECORD

Mortis is not a world in the usual sense. Sensors call it a planet; Jedi who land call it a vergence — a realm of the Force given landscape, where day and night argue and the laws of ordinary space loosen. It is the home of the Ones: the Father, who keeps balance; the Daughter, who embodies the light; and the Son, who embodies the dark.

In 20 BBY the Father drew Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano here to test the Chosen One. The Son killed the Daughter; Ahsoka died and was returned with the Daughter's last life. The Father died to contain the Son. The arc is the Clone Wars' theology of Anakin — and a place crews still type into search when they mean 'the Ones.'

First appearance: Star Wars: The Clone Wars — Mortis arc (2011)
