Malastare

Malastare is a high-gravity Mid Rim world of methane lakes and fuel reserves, shared uneasily by the four-armed Dug natives and the Gran colonists who politically eclipsed them - a tension visible in everything from its Senate delegation to its podraces, the sport Dugs like Sebulba made famous.

In the Clone Wars the Republic deployed an experimental electro-proton bomb against a droid army here, awakening the last Zillo Beast from beneath the fuel fields - a kaiju-scale lesson, promptly ignored, about what sleeps under old worlds.
