Eriadu is a polluted, industrial Seswenna sector capital — the Tarkin family's world. Wilhuff Tarkin learned his doctrine here: rule by fear, from the Seswenna to the Rim. Smoke, shipyards, and a culture that prized order over comfort produced the man who would fire the Death Star.

The planet stayed Imperial through the Galactic Civil War and hosted academy and sector command traffic. In Andor-era politics it remains the kind of Core-Rim hinge world the Empire trusted to police its own neighbors.
