Daiyu is an Expansion Region night-market: neon, spice, cloned meat, and bounties shouted from every balcony. The Empire's law is a suggestion if you stay off the main avenue. It is the kind of world Obi-Wan Kenobi had spent ten years avoiding.

In 9 BBY he came here hunting Leia Organa and found the Third Sister, a city-sized manhunt, and the first proof that Vader was still hunting him. Daiyu is a Kenobi search term: the neon world where the hermit came back to the street.
