Chandrila

Chandrila is a pastoral Core World of rolling green hills and civic-minded politics, the kind of place where the houses are low, the debates are long, and the most dangerous export is a senator. Its most famous daughter, Mon Mothma, carried Chandrilan restraint into open treason against Palpatine - and then into the New Republic's first chancellorship.

Hanna City served as the New Republic's first capital after Endor: Imperial prisoners paraded its streets, and the Liberation Day attack by brainwashed prisoners bloodied its optimism. Chandrila remains shorthand for the Republic at its most decent - and most naive.
