Cantonica is a desert world made profitable by one city: Canto Bight, a coastal casino playground built on an artificial sea, where the galaxy's arms dealers and war profiteers launder their consciences in champagne and fathier racing. Its glamour is serviced by stable boys and staffed by the indentured.

Finn and Rose Tico came here in 34 ABY hunting the Master Codebreaker and found instead DJ, the amoral slicer whose betrayal nearly doomed the Resistance - and a stampede of liberated fathiers through the casino floor that made the trip worth it. 'It's worth it, though. Now it's worth it.'
