Alsakan

Alsakan is an ancient Core World that spent millennia arguing with Coruscant over who was the center. The Alsakan Conflicts — a series of wars older than most Rim states — are why galactic maps still list it with a straight back.

It never won the argument. Coruscant kept the Senate. Alsakan kept the pride. Essential Atlas readers still search the name when they want the Republic's first civil habit: Core worlds fighting Core worlds.
