Wicket W. Warrick was an Ewok scout of Bright Tree Village. He found Leia Organa after her speeder crashed on Endor's forest moon, brought her to his people, and fought with the Rebels against Imperial troops at the shield bunker. He later fought at the shield bunker after Bright Tree Village chose the Rebel side.

Wilhuff Tarkin, Grand Moff of the Outer Rim, commanded the Death Star and used it to destroy Alderaan as a demonstration. He refused to evacuate during the Battle of Yavin and died when Luke Skywalker fired into the station's exhaust port. He used Leia Organa's homeworld as the demonstration after she refused to name the Rebel base.

Wuher tended bar at Chalmun's cantina in Mos Eisley. He refused droids at the bar, turning C-3PO and R2-D2 away, and was behind the counter when Obi-Wan Kenobi cut down Ponda Baba. He ran Chalmun's bar as Imperial patrols and bounty hunters passed through Mos Eisley.

Wullf Yularen served as an admiral in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars, often with Anakin Skywalker, then joined the Imperial Security Bureau. He sat in the Death Star conference when Tarkin and Vader discussed the stolen plans. On the Death Star he wore ISB rank among Tarkin's chiefs as they hunted the stolen plans.

Xi'an was a Twi'lek mercenary in Ranzar Malk's crew, skilled with knives. She tried to strand Din Djarin during a New Republic prison break and was left behind.

Xizor is the Falleen underlord of Black Sun in Shadows of the Empire. He plots against Darth Vader and hunts Luke Skywalker through that story's underworld war.

Yaddle was a Jedi Master of Yoda's species and sat on the High Council during the Naboo crisis. In later archive material she left a quiet Temple life and was killed by Count Dooku after he turned from the Order.

Yarael Poof was a Quermian Jedi Master who sat on the High Council in the years before the Clone Wars. He was no longer on the Council by the time of Geonosis; the archive lists him among the pre-war masters. His long neck made him one of the most visible Council members in the Naboo crisis years.

Yoda was the Grand Master of the Jedi Order for over 800 years, one of the most powerful and wise Jedi to ever live. He trained countless Jedi and led the Order through the Clone Wars. After Order 66, he went into exile on Dagobah where he later trained Luke Skywalker. At 900 years old, he passed into the Force, his final lesson teaching Luke about the importance of passing on what he had learned.

Zam Wesell was a Clawdite assassin hired by Jango Fett to kill Senator Amidala. She failed twice on Coruscant; Jango killed her with a saberdart before she could name him to Obi-Wan Kenobi. The kouhuns she dropped into Amidala's rooms were the second try; the saberdart named Jango.

Zev Senesca flew as Rogue Two on Hoth. He found Luke Skywalker and Han Solo after their night in the wilderness, then was shot down by Imperial walkers during the battle for Echo Base. His Rogue Two call sign was the first friendly voice Luke and Han heard after the night storm.

Zorii Bliss led a spice-runner gang on Kijimi and once flew with Poe Dameron. She helped Poe, Finn, and Rey escape the First Order and later joined the citizen fleet that fought at Exegol. Kijimi was destroyed after she helped the Resistance; she still flew to Exegol.

Zuckuss was a Gand findsman and bounty hunter who worked with 4-LOM. He was present when Darth Vader hired the hunters after the Battle of Hoth to find Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon. He and 4-LOM left the Super Star Destroyer with the same bounty Vader had just posted.
